Taking strides to build a better tomorrow,

By connecting the dots today.

Relationships matter. You matter. And together, we connect to build communities that help solve the challenges—large and small—that face us.

My role? I connect the “people” dots.

There’s so many of us out there in our world—talented, skilled and incredibly interesting people—with sage ideas, opinions, desires and actions that have or will shape our future. And I want to connect and learn from you so I can connect you with others like you and me who make want to make our world brighter.

Who am I?

[Other than Just some guy with who really likes people..]

I’m Cameron. I’ve spent most of my working career in the public service, which has given me a profound appreciation for the things that we do collectively that help build healthy and vibrant communities—communities that we’re proud to showcase and live in—that model the kinds of deliberate and spontaneous physical and emotional interactions between us that give meaning and purpose to our lives. This has often meant keeping abreast of our community’s progress and maturity on economic and social matters and their influence on government policy making.

I’m a government guy, which means I care about how government works. (And too when it sometimes doesn’t.)
I care about government so much that I decided to earn a graduate degree in public administration. That's right, a whole degree about something that most people would get drowsy thinking too much about.

I care about how government works because I care about how we organize together to do all the things that makes society society, and all the negotiations and compromises that we make to live side-by-side. I’ve been privileged to see how government works from the inside, and I have some ideas too on how we can make government better.

And why this site?

[I didn’t make it to simply count webtraffic.]

The internet, like our world, is a big space. And I’m carving out a little piece of it to explore connections, ideas and opportunities. Above all, I want the this site to feel engaging. Your ideas and feedback are important to me. So let’s connect, discuss, debate, share—and repeat!

Engage!
